Toy no.1

This is myfirst week as a These are a few of my favorite things DT (yaaaayy!!!!!) and the theme is my favorite toy. I had no doubts...... I had to scrap once again about Kian and his fave toy - daddy!!! He really is his fave toy and they play together all the time. In fact if there is a moment when my hubby feels tired and tells Kian to go and play by himself he immidiatlly says that there's no way he would do this and usually in the end Matej gives up and restarts to play :-))))

An abundant use of glimmer mist in this LO and distressing as well. I also simply printed some vintage toys and put them on the top of the photo. For the background frame I misted over a Prima stamp package carboard that has a nice scalloped shape.

And what's your fave toy????? Make something that smells like scrapbook and capture maybe your best friend from your childhood. You'll see how funny but also deep can be creating about things that are the essential part of our lifes!!!!

Christmas countdown

The christmas countdown has begun. This weekend we are going to decorate our dens and as this year we'll have a bigger christmas tree It was already time to make some new christmas decorations. In fact, bigger tree or not, I make every year some new decor for our house. This year I made this bigger decorations: some gingerbread man and cookies and some candy canes.

This snowman is made from a shoe/sock of a Kian's baby overall. I just filled it with some cotton and made a bow with a paper rope to separate the body from the head and it turned out great. I have to check now if Kian has any sock that has no apir to make some new decorations!!

Raketa / The rocket

Danes ima moj nečak rojstni dan. Seveda je cela družina poskrbela, da je dobil pravo, veliko darilo - traktor. Poleg tega, pa sem včeraj razmišljala, da bi bilo lepo, če bi ga še malo bolj presenetili. Tako grem na net, malo pobrskam in jo vidim....RAKETA!!!!! Takoj sem šla na delo (in seveda nisem mogla kaj, da ne bi naredila eno tudi Kianu) in v dveh urah sta nastali ti dve homemade igrački, ki čez dan služijo igranju, ponoči pa bodo mehki zavezniki v postelji ponoči. V mali luknjici se skriva mali neustrašni astronaut, pa še je prostor za kakšen zaklad!

Today is my nephew's birthday. Of course all the family surprised him with a present - a big tractor. Besides this I thought about surprising him just a little bit more. And so I look up on the net and I saw it....A ROCKET!!!!!! I immediately started with sewing (and I couldn't help myself for making one for Kian as well) and so in two hours there were finished two new homemade toys. They are toys during the day and breavehart tender allies in the bed at night. They are provided with a hole where is situated a little astronaut and there is still place for some kind of treasure!
