Canvas pumpkin

There is no halloween for me if I don't make a new pumpkin for my collection. Every year I feel inspired and this make realizing new things easy and fun.
This year I decided to use canvas for my pumpkin. I used the canvas Corp canvas where you can find tons of materials for making these autumn queens. In fact I also used some Canvas Corp colored burlap to enrich the stem and covered the canvas stem with some Canvas Corp rope.

The procedure is so simple.Just some smashed paper wrapped into canvas and you have your own brand new but old pumpkin. The rest is just fun - decorating it as you prefer! I also used the Sizzix Bigz Die - Tattered Leaves using the Canvas Corp Halloween themed paper and the 7Gypsies numbers for the 31! Now we just have to wait halloween and maybe produce something more.....
Here is my idea  -  use it as you wish!

Baloon canvas

I'm already back with a new canvas project. I used another 12x12 canvas from Canvas Corp and created a baloon in the sky:

I used the 7Gypsies paper Postale to make the baloon. I distressed it and sew it together. I made a mini man and put it inside the baloon basket to explore the universe. For the clouds I used the Sizzix elegant Flourish Die. I covered it with crackle paint and after dry with some glossy varnish. The metal embellisments are from 7Gypsies as well.

I hope you are exploring your universe too. I'm having some busy days waiting to me because I'm preparing my book to be released in September and there are always milions of projects in my life. Let's try to realize some of them :-) Have a lovely summer!

A pinch of dreams

Hello! Here is my latest LO using Mistable papers from Tattered Angels. They are great for playing with mists and searching new patterns. Here is the LO:

The base is a Tattered Angels Cotton Cream Mistable paper. I sprinkled it with masking fluid to make the nightsky. I covered the whole paper with Glimmer mists: Graphite, Acqua, Dragonfly,... After the paper was dry I removed the masking fluid and stamped across the edge with a 7 Gypsies stamp.

I cut a circle out of a Canvas Corp French Script paper to represent the moon. Than I created a banner shaped piece out of the Tattered Angels Mistable Paper Satin and also added the Apothecary Label from 7 Gypsies that says "pinch".

The stars are also cut-outs  of the Tattered Angels Mistable Paper Satin using the Sizzix Bigz Die - Stacked Stars. I gave to the stars even more personality with the Tattered Angels High Imapct Paint  Platinum and Antique Gold and with the Nori color of Glimmer Glaze.
I added various 7 Gypsies metal embellishments like the corners that I used for the stars background and the gears. My necessary print are the broken buttons.

I hope you like the LO. See you next time!

"Follow me" egg

Hello! Just some days left til Easter and I have some more eggs to offer :-) My latest egg has 7Gypsies on the menu. But let's go gradually to see how it's made.
I covered the egg with an old curtain that I couldn't use anymore. I cut it into stripes, covered the egg  and painted it with texture paste.

I made the central heart using the Sizzix Bigz Die - Heart, Stem & Leaves and the 7Gypsies paper postale and the Canvas Corp Grey and White Diamonds paper. The background of the heart is made with Black High Impact Tattered Angels paint. I had a little bunny that was just brown and nothing special so I decided to cover it with Champagne High Impact Pint from Tattered Angels and also with some Glimmer Glaze using the same shadow. The bunny immidiatlly showed another face, more appropriete for my egg. The 7Gypsies Chemistry Naked Apothecary Label gives to the bunny the perfect spot. The heart is, obviously, completed with some well show  stitches.

I also added a lovely tag from Canvas Corp. I covered it with some Gloss varnish that gives to tha tag some dimension and some more force in time as well.

I added 7Gypsies Vintage Pin that I intentionally twisted a bit and a mini key, also from 7Gypies, invites the thoughts to enter in the Fairytale and of course you'll have to follow the bunny ;-)

The flowers are adorned (or bothered) with some metal hardware from Canvas Corp.

I have some more time till Easter.... some more eggs are waiting...

Easter fairytale egg

Hello! Here is my new project - a gothic fairytale easter egg. I used many Canvas Corp products that offer versatility and a great base for further ideas. I covered an egg with Canvas Corp canvas.

I just teared it into stripes and glued them on. Several touches of distressing make the defference: the Canvas Corp string and wire for stitches, the distressing with Color Box Mix'd Media inxs (Leather and Jasmin), some crackle paint on the egg and on the  Sizzix Movers & Shapers Magnetic Die Set 2PK - Mini Butterflies Set as well. The bottom of the egg is the burlap flower from CC and I also put a little jasmin ink on it. In my oppinion it looks like moss right from the woods. I love it. For the embellisments I decided to make some space for (broken) buttons (already necessary part of my projects), / Gypsies pins, Canvas Corp clips. I finished with colored normal pins, wire and the black butterfly with Tattered Angels  Glimmer Glaze Nori and High Imapct mixed media pait Antique Gold.

I love it on my mini pedestal and I hope it has the look of a magic egg right out of a fairytale.

Some more eggs are waiting to come.....

U shine like a star

Hello everyone! I'm here sharing my latest  LO. For this one I decided to use as the central element the  Sizzix Bigz Die - Stacked Stars.  I embossed the stars with Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folders 2PK - Basket Weave & Honeycomb Set to give them  little dimension. The paper is from  Canvas Corp  - Black & White Ribbon Stripe - I absolutley love these papers because they perfectly complete my style! I covered it with some bandages and texture paste and some crackle paint.

Of course I love my black branches for my Gothic Fairytale style, so I decided to use this time the High impact  Tattered angels Paint to make them. I actually use a toothpick to make them and it was simple and quick and they look a bit 3D as well! Let me mention that I used the High impact paints also for the word shine. I simply wrote the letters on an acetate, combining two colors: Platinum and Antique Gold.

I hope you like it! See ya soon!

You melt my heart LO

Hello everyone! I'm back with a new LO....Still following my Gothic Fairytale style :-) maybe just a little bit softer..... because I just can't resist this look :-)
For the base I used many many Sizzix dies:
- Chandelier
- Botanical elements
- Hardware findings
- Stacked stars
- Tattered florals
- Heart wings
- Garden greens

 Here is the LO:

In fact you can combine the dies you want. I just decided to cut them and to displey them in the centre randomly. Than I covered everything with the white primer. Than I made a sort of ombre effect friom inside of the centre out. I used High Impact Tattered Angels pait which coveres completly the white. I also made the edges of the dies grey using the distress tool and inks.
I used the  Canvas Corp Tan &Ivory Ribbon stripe paper. It's a very nice paper that welcomes many techniques. The mini key and the "k" intial is from  7Gypsies. I used the Tattered Angels High impact paints also to  get a messy look in the top corner: a mixture of Copper, Black and Leaf.

Some close ups:

Se you next time! Thanks for stopping!

Another tattered heart

Hi there! Valentine's day is over but I have another tattered heart to show you and in this gothic fairytale style it can be a heart for all year long. The main actor are again the Sizzix, Tattered angels, 7 Gypsies and Canvas Corp products. Again I decided to make the wings out of something different: tehy are a perfect combo between some CC burlap, different colors of Tattered Angels Glimmer mist and Baseboard and  Sizzix Movers & Shapers Magnetic Die - Mini Flouris. I wanted them to be a copper like.

To make the stitches pop out I decided to make the iside edges of the heart black and I used the Tattered Angels High impact Mixed Media Paint.

Tattered Heart

Hello everyone! Here is my latest project. Obviously getting closed to the Valentines day the idea is in that style but in a bit different way. The idea was to create something that would represent something more than just a sweet heart. It's more about a real love and about life and how both leave a sign of their presence and maybe a challenge. This heart wanted to show that someones heart  can be used, hurt or damaged but it's still a heart and never looses its shape.

I used the 7Gypsies paper Postale. Little pieces to cover the entire heart. The metal hardware from Canvas Corp was perfect to make my idea pop out. The nails, the hooks.... great!!!!

I also wanted my heart to have some distressed wings. Nothing perfect, something that shows the mileage of life they made and a lot of dies seemed too good for it. Than I came up with the idea to use the

I've placed them one on the other and I love this tattered looking wings.

I've colored them with High Impact Tattered angels paint: Black, Platinum and Antique Gold. Together thay make a metal effect and I love how you can control the blending of the pigment in these paints.
So, I hope you like my Tattered heart. The words on it say: Find Strenght.... and will be completed with a tiny envelope that treasures the other part of the message: ...... in those who love you. Have a great day!

Delight

Hello everone! A new LO in my gothic fairytale style. Many 7 Gypsies elements like the paper, the litle key, the dome studs. I think they are perfect for my style. The paper has a very versatile style and I made a hidden pattern with some white paint. I also used the Sizzix Bigz Die - Garden Greens to contour the photo and I painted them black with the Tattered Angels High impact mixed media paint and I used the same paint in the Antique Gold color for the drops as well. I also used the Sizzix Bigz XL Alphabet Die - Block Talk Capital.

I hope you like it and found some inspiration!

Victorian Christmas Tree

Hello friends! Here is my new Christmas project using Sizzix and 7 Gypsies. Great choice, don't you think? This time I made a Victorian style Christmas tree:

For making this tree I used the 7Gypsies Postale paper, the 6x6 stack. There is also a new sizzix die I used: the Sizzix Bigz Die - Garden Greens. It is a very versatile die and here I just cut it into pieces and used it to enrich the Christmas tree. The procedure for making this tree is very simple and if you would like to make it just leave me a comment and I'll put down a few hints for you.

In RL the paper looks almost like fabric, but there is a secret how to make it ;-)

Here is another thing I wanted to share with you. The past week has been released my second book for children:

I wanted to say a big Thank you to everyone inspired me, belived in me, encouraged me, helped me, waited for me and made this possible in any way. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
