Here's my page about it and I was sure I had to put on my 12x12 the TAAFOMFT. Why I love this blog so much? The answer is that this peace of world gives us the opportunity to scrap about us. Usually scrappers dedicate their pages and albums and other stuf to family, friends,...and sometimes we just don't have any inspiration for ourselfs but with the TAAFOMFT this aspect changed. You can scrap about something you feel, enjoy, life,.... You can scrap about You! Besides this the atmosphere on the blog is almost like being in family and chatting about things you love! I had no doubts this time: TAAFOMFT is a place where I'm inspired and where we can inspire others ...I hope!

I want to show you another LO in this post that I did for the color room. The palette was sooooooo hard this time and I finished with a LO that is totally the opposite of my style. Feel kinda weird :-))))) The idea that I introduced in this page are the glue drops (with the glue gun) for the bubbles.

Daddy's bedtime stories

Bedtime stories are really important for children. Every night Matej or me read to Kian several stories and he just loves that moments. I enjoy it too and sometimes even too much because yesterday I was reading a book to Kian and I was doing some scary voices for the bed guys and at the end of the story Kian said: "Mom, don't make those voices again because I'm scared!" OOOPS!!!!! I really must have got in the caracter a little bit too much :-)

Also this page was inspired by the Color room and I enjoy to participate because I must say that the quality here is really high and I' always impressed and inspired. So, the colors were:

Toy no.1

This is myfirst week as a These are a few of my favorite things DT (yaaaayy!!!!!) and the theme is my favorite toy. I had no doubts...... I had to scrap once again about Kian and his fave toy - daddy!!! He really is his fave toy and they play together all the time. In fact if there is a moment when my hubby feels tired and tells Kian to go and play by himself he immidiatlly says that there's no way he would do this and usually in the end Matej gives up and restarts to play :-))))

An abundant use of glimmer mist in this LO and distressing as well. I also simply printed some vintage toys and put them on the top of the photo. For the background frame I misted over a Prima stamp package carboard that has a nice scalloped shape.

And what's your fave toy????? Make something that smells like scrapbook and capture maybe your best friend from your childhood. You'll see how funny but also deep can be creating about things that are the essential part of our lifes!!!!

Mini shoes that treasure first steps

Of coures I'm doing the first June challenge on the TAAFOMFT!!!! I told you about the prizes and the theme is "My fave shoes". This was a perfect occasion for scrappin' Kian's first shoes. In fact there were a few times that I wanted to memorize this tiny shoes but never really felt the right idea and now.... This is the one!
I used just some regular sticker alphas for the words MINI SHOES and than I ccovered them with transparent varnish and of course distressed (can't do a page without distressing!!!!) and the result is a thin clear edge arround the letters that I love!!! In this LO I also put some gold thin paper to make it look more prescious!
I can really tell: these are my favorite shoes but go on the blog and check the great idea of the DT girls and submit yours. I guarantee lot of fun!

Together as one

It's a fact that my husband is Kian's favorite toy. Everyday when he returns home from work and enters through the door and has still his shoes on and Kian is already screaming: "Daddy, we will play now, aren't we?". Matej can't even put his briefcase down when he hears that sentence and Kian repeats this question several times also while Matej is eating his lunch. After that he is immidiatlly there, prepared for some boy games that sometimes I hardly understand :-)





For the flowers I followed the Gabrielle's tutorial and I have to say that those flowers are awesome. Thank you so much Gabrielle, they'll become part of my scrapbook laguage!

The sweetest thing

Hello everybody! First of all I have to say thank you for all the suggestions about the heating gun. I really appriciated your support and it helped me a lot!!
I had a terrible week because I was all days in bed in a company of a mr. Virus. You know the story - fever, shaking, ...... My throat is still not producing the voice I'm used to but for the rest, I hope, now it'll go better. (I'm just knoking on wood in any case!)
Before I fell in bed I made this LO. I've already told you (http://preprostobogastvo.blogspot.com/2009/06/challenge.html) that Kian never played with the blocks but he always does great constructions with other things. So once again the other day he was sitting in the kichen and he found the sugar cubes and he started to play with them and after a while he made three towers and he said that one was him, one mommy and the tallest one was daddy. I think the title can not be other than "The sweetest thing" as for what he said and because he used sugar!

I also like how the chipboard letters came out. I used some crackle paint and mixed it with regular acrilyc on the other side and finished with a coat of gloss varnish. I like the foggy mix of the two colors - I think I'll use a lot this technique!

Fairy tale dream

I have to admit that lately I'm very affascinated when Kian is sleeping. So I think also my next LO will be about this. In fact lately the time he is awake he is always screaming and being grumpy. Yesterday I decided to make a table where he collects bad and good spots. Than more good ones means a reward, than more bad ones means....yeah a kind of punishment (My idea was a week without Gormiti - his favorite toys...) I'll tell you if I'm succsessful with this method.

This LO started from the photo. The day he was slepping on my bad there was a special light going on his face and I immidiatly falt like he is dreaming about something special. I decided to point on green and as you see most of the things includede are green but at the same time I wanted them to be destinguised. The thing I love about this LO thet I used just a simple garze arround the photo that is a perfect combination with the theme. The brown flowers are made out of a pinecorn and the are like elfs flowers. For the chipboard swirls I used two different types of green crackle paint and then I coverd them with varnish.

I apologize not showing up yesterda but I was very busy because making the costumes for pust and preparing gifts and the cake for my mom's birthday. I made a topsy turvy cake and I enjoyed the new challenge!

This my LO is about Kian's special spot on his foot. He was born with it and the little thing is growing with him. I think this is something special about him and I wanted a memory of it as in a few years this little noughty spot it's supposed to be taken out to prevent bad surprises. This is the reason I've put a clock in this LO.

Bad day

SO...Kian is taking out the stitches tomorrow. Now, that everything is almost over I decided to make this LO about this unfortunate moment. I wonder sometimes when will Kian start to be more careful :-) After a lost thooth and this one I hope this will never happen again but I think is quite improbable as my son doesn't pay much attention on what is on his way and he's always running. I just hope for the best!!!!!!!!
