Baloon canvas

I'm already back with a new canvas project. I used another 12x12 canvas from Canvas Corp and created a baloon in the sky:

I used the 7Gypsies paper Postale to make the baloon. I distressed it and sew it together. I made a mini man and put it inside the baloon basket to explore the universe. For the clouds I used the Sizzix elegant Flourish Die. I covered it with crackle paint and after dry with some glossy varnish. The metal embellisments are from 7Gypsies as well.

I hope you are exploring your universe too. I'm having some busy days waiting to me because I'm preparing my book to be released in September and there are always milions of projects in my life. Let's try to realize some of them :-) Have a lovely summer!

Canvas mashroom

Hello everyone! I'm back after having some computers problems. How I hate that!!! Luckily now I saved everything and I'm going on.
Here is my latest canvas. I used a canvas from Canvas Corp. In fact with this brand you an find a canvas in every shape and in beatiful shades. I decided for a 12x12 canvas. Here it is:

It is a fabric mashroom that is poping out of the canvas. The background is made with old pages and texture paste and some stamping here and there. The roots are made using the High Impact Black Paint from Tattered Angels. I painted them using a toothpick. Everything distreressed. From a tiny root there is going out a thin thread that is continuing the story.

At first I wanted to add some things but after several tries I noticed that the focus was disturbed if I wanted o add more thing so I left the mashroom alone with the important roots. Exactly like in our lives.

I hope you love my latest project. See you back soon!

Unfragmented Printer's tray

Hello! I'm going to share my take on the 7 Gypsies Printer's tray. I adore these kind of vintage scented items. I already seen many different trays but I wanted to make it in a new way and I decided that instead to keep the sections different and fragmented I wanted to connect them with a common pattern. I worked fragmently to achive the final ideas as a integral whole. Here it is.....

I started with the Freanch Script paper from Canvas Corp for the base. I covered with some white acrylic here and there and distressed it. For the central heart I used a thick paper from Tattered Angels - Mistable paper Cotton cream and obtained the shape using the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 4PK - Frame, Heart w/Crown. I stamped the central part with the 7Gypsies stamp and distressed it as well. I also add my very loved black glow on the background. I added several touches from Canvas Cosrp like the metal hardware, theword from CC paper and the chipboard alphabet from / Gypsies. IN the end the message is clear: search for real. authentic, pure and original.

I have a tip: the easyest way to cut perfect parts to cover the background is to ink the tray and simply put on the paper to get the print and voila!! Piece of cake!

I hope you like my unfragmented printer's tray!

Shine LO

Another Lo to post. Here is the latest idea, based on the philosophy that you can express yourself in many different ways and they don't need to be conventional. Beauty is something to search and to make confortable for yourself. You don't need to follow the rules but you have to follow your heart....
The title is: There are many ways to shine, find your own...

The base is a Tattered Angels mistable paper - Crushed cotton. I made the rays with the Masking Fluid. I sprayed the centre with the Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels: Graphite was the right choice. I  cleaned the rays and used the French Script Canveas Corp paper to cut out the flower with the Sizzix Bigz XL Die - Jumbo Tattered Florals and used the biggest flower for the background of the photo.

I added several stitches....

I made the banner from another mistable paper - Brushed Cotton- Cream.

I hope you found your own way to shine too. Have a great day!

A pinch of dreams

Hello! Here is my latest LO using Mistable papers from Tattered Angels. They are great for playing with mists and searching new patterns. Here is the LO:

The base is a Tattered Angels Cotton Cream Mistable paper. I sprinkled it with masking fluid to make the nightsky. I covered the whole paper with Glimmer mists: Graphite, Acqua, Dragonfly,... After the paper was dry I removed the masking fluid and stamped across the edge with a 7 Gypsies stamp.

I cut a circle out of a Canvas Corp French Script paper to represent the moon. Than I created a banner shaped piece out of the Tattered Angels Mistable Paper Satin and also added the Apothecary Label from 7 Gypsies that says "pinch".

The stars are also cut-outs  of the Tattered Angels Mistable Paper Satin using the Sizzix Bigz Die - Stacked Stars. I gave to the stars even more personality with the Tattered Angels High Imapct Paint  Platinum and Antique Gold and with the Nori color of Glimmer Glaze.
I added various 7 Gypsies metal embellishments like the corners that I used for the stars background and the gears. My necessary print are the broken buttons.

I hope you like the LO. See you next time!

Recipe in a bottle No.2

Hello! Here is my new recipe in a bottle idea. I used mostly 7Gypsies products. I used again a used empty bottle and covered it with transparent crackle paint. Than I used the 7 Gypsies Postale and Maritime paper to cover the bottle. I also made some shading at the top and at the bottom of the bottle with the Tattered Angels black High Impact Paint.

The leaves on the both sides of the bottle are  Sizzix Bigz Die - Garden Greens completed with black high impact paint.

For the embellishments of the bottle I choose  from the vast 7G palette: the alphabet stickers POSTALE, the ANTIQUE BRASS  vintage clip, the CHEMISTRY  NAKED APOTHECARY LABEL and the POSTALE collection stickers.

Have a nice day!

Recipe in a bottle

Hello! The Creative Crew has a mission in May: to capture the recipe and although I'm a it late because of some nasty health issues, I'm presentin a Fairytale recipe container. This time I used mainly Canvas Corp products but let me show you the result first:

The main idea is to, when you delight someone with a nice cake or a dish to give also to the person the recipe and this is tha Fairytale container made for and of course it's written "Eat it" :-)

The realization is quuite simple. I used a Snapple empty bottle but any other bottle will do. In fact you can play with diferent shapes and sizes. Simply glue on teared stripes  of Canvas Corp canvas. Remember not to glue the edges because they need to pop out a bit and than make a few stiches to have the peception of almost fabbric bottle. Adorn it as you like. I used a CC tag, a 7Gypsies pin and metal hardware....

I hope you'll like the idea..... Have fun and spread recipes :-)
