Gothic Fairytale continues....

Hello everyone! I'm back.... already :-) 

I really enjoy my new inspiration and ideas are getting croudy in my head so I have to make some space by making some of them :-)

Here is a tag that I made totally under my new inspiration. It's a soft heart that I have created with some cardboard, cotton and some fabbric ( I stamped one half of it ). In order to follow the gothic style the haert is full of pins. The title of the tag is "Dare" that I find a good advice for everyone and for almost everything.  The background is something  that is getting to be my red thread in my projects. I have already new ones prepared and this background seems that wants to be part of them :-)

Three

I'm back swamped by a new inspiration. I'm glad to introduce my latest layout  "Three".

  

 

The layout is made in a Gothic Fairytale style. This is the name I decided to pick for my new version of scrapbook . It's a compound of various elements that perfectly express my vision. Let's abandon for a while the sweetness of the Shabby Chic and start to swim in something new..... Something that brings new challenges for my creativity....

Beside some sewing and some stamping I have to mention that I used the Sizzix Movers & Shapers Magnetic Die - Mini Flourish  that I adapted to make it perfect to match the atmosphere in the layout. I've cut sharper the ends and assembled the various cutted parts in a new way....

 I added some Prim flowers that match the colors of the heart....  

 I feel very inspired and soon I'll be back with my new creations of my Gothic Fairytale. I hope you like it. Have a great time making, inventing, creating....

Hello! I hope you are doing well. Here we are expecting spring but nothing seems it's already there. In fact the weather is more like we are expecting Christmas than Easter....

Here is my last layout. I couldn't resist to use once again the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 3PK - Frame because  it has a great shape and you can really use it in many many ways and always gives that romantic touch. In this case I cut out some patterned paper, distressed it and cover it with the clear crackle paint. I stamped the border of the layout with the stamps that are included in the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 7PK w/Stamps - Flowers, Lovely set. I just love these stamps!

Foil Easter Eggs

Here I am with a new Easter idea for you. It's not only for creating new eggs but also a simple way to dress some odl eggs in a new way. I decided to use foil inspired by the surprise eggs that are wrapped in foil. There are some tips to follow to get this vintage look and apply the foil but in the end it turned out as I wished.

I used the Night Sky Glimmer Glam and the Dragonfly Glimmer mist for giving a nice color to the two eggs. From the Sizzix pantry I made some die cuts using the Sizzix Bigz Die - Hardware Findings  and the Sizzix Movers & Shapers Magnetic Die Set 2PK - Mini Bunny & Bow Set and applied some pieces to each of the eggs. I love these die cuts - a million ways of uses!!!!

 

 Each egg is wrapped in a cord net ...

 The foil eggs are also raughly stamped ...

My eggs are already decorating my kitchen :-) See you soon for the next idea!

Bunny Boy

Here I am, back with a new LO that is also easter scented. I had this picture of my boy with one of our bunnies and it was just perfect for this time of the year and offfered me a lot of inspiration. So, after quite a while, here is a LO. 

I decided to use the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 3PK - Frame, Damask for the background but instead to use it a s a frame I've cut it and use it as a background line and the rounded parts were perfect to protect the clock's. I decided to added clocks to this LO just to have a tiny Alice in Wonderland ingredient because my son and me love that movie. I also used the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 6PK w/Stamps - Banners for the title support. I love these banners bacause the package is a combination of die cuts and stamps. I inked those stamps and before pressing them down I wiped off the ink from the centre to get a vintage used look.

I cut out some bunny ears and glue them on the letter "B".

Now we have just to wait for Easter to come :-)

Butterfly Egg

Hello everyone! I'm back after quite a while. The reason is that we are fighting at home with various viruses and I really hope that it's over with all the chikenpox, flus, ecc. Maybe the upcoming spring is what we  need!!! I'm caling her also with this my new project - a Butterfly Egg.
I covered the egg with a lot of butterflies and using the Sizzix Movers & Shapers Magnetic Die Set 2PK - Mini Butterflies Set. It's easy to get a lot of them in just some moments because the Sizzix machine and the dies allows to cut 3 pieces at once. I used about 80 butterflies to cover tha whole egg.

 I stamped the flowers with the stamps you'll find in the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 7PK w/Stamps - Flowers, Lovely.  These stamps are perfect to make any poaper flower more intresting.

The top of the egg is the perfect place for the biggest butterfly the is made with the  Sizzix Sizzlits Die - Butterfly   distressed and covered with cracle paint.

There are also some intresting thing happening at SIZZIX!!!!

Love potion Valentines Message bottle 2013 No.2

Hello everyone!  Here I am back with a new bottle for the upcoming Valentines day. I used a normal soda bottle and covered  it with some paper. To make the look of it more soft and romantic I added some lace but themost important piece is surely the pierced heart that was made using the Sizzix dies! I fact the heart is a piece of grungeboard made with the Sizzix Bigz Die - Heart, Stem & Leaves and covered with a shower of glitter. The arrow is a combination of two pieces of the same die: the Sizzix Movers & Shapers Magnetic Die - Mini Flourish and adding a small piece of gungeboard for the pointed part of the arrow. This die cut transforms a normal arrow to a shabby chic masterpiece. The bottle is completed with a velvet pink bow with a butterfly that was made with the Sizzix Movers & Shapers Magnetic Die Set 2PK - Mini Butterflies Set.
