You are irresistible

20th palette on The color room and you know what? I did them all. Yes, a lot of inspiration in there and a lot of colors that I wouzld never use and this makes it even more fun - to find a combo of colors and the layering that makes you happy with the page.
Here is another palette that I would never make but I'm happy that I reached the final result that reflects my style: Purple grape, Dusty Green, Bright Blue, Really Lavender. Well the color in the picture are not like they are in the page. There is a higher impact of the lavander color.

The pic was taken in the occassion of the last day of kindy and there was a little party and Kian is wearing elephant ears because he was part of the elephant group and I find him particulary irresistible in this photo. I made a lot of misting and masking in this page and I love how the two techniques goes perfectly together, one on the other.

I paited the lace with regular acrilyc paint...

Fave site/blog

Do you have a fave blog or site? Yes? Than you have to scrap it and take part to the current challenge on These are my favorite things!!!!!

Here's my page about it and I was sure I had to put on my 12x12 the TAAFOMFT. Why I love this blog so much? The answer is that this peace of world gives us the opportunity to scrap about us. Usually scrappers dedicate their pages and albums and other stuf to family, friends,...and sometimes we just don't have any inspiration for ourselfs but with the TAAFOMFT this aspect changed. You can scrap about something you feel, enjoy, life,.... You can scrap about You! Besides this the atmosphere on the blog is almost like being in family and chatting about things you love! I had no doubts this time: TAAFOMFT is a place where I'm inspired and where we can inspire others ...I hope!

I want to show you another LO in this post that I did for the color room. The palette was sooooooo hard this time and I finished with a LO that is totally the opposite of my style. Feel kinda weird :-))))) The idea that I introduced in this page are the glue drops (with the glue gun) for the bubbles.

Dirty but innocent

I lot of moms love to see their children clean but I don't. Don't understand me wrong I do care that every day he goes out of the house in the immaculate outfit but I never tell him to be carfull not to get dirty. In fact when I was little I needed just a few minutes to make my clean clothes dirty and I think this is part of the chilhood - not being under presure. A few days ago we were at a birthday party and Kian was enjoying to slide on a dusty and rocky little hill. I remembered how nice was when I was little to think !

The LO was made under the color palette inspiration of the color room and I have to say that it was very challeging to use the pink on a boy LO and in addition cobined with the dirty theme but I think I reached the idea and used many pink things that I had left. I had this chiboard pink piece that was saying "son" (!!!!!!???????) and I finally could use it! And if you notice there is another thing that was super challeging for me. This time I did't use any distressing and I can hardly belive it :-)

Relaxin' together

I don't know if it happens to you but Kian several times enjoys to watch cartoons in company. He always likes to discuss what is happening and dance if there is some music and I think his oppinion is that there's no point in doing it alone. And usually I have to accept two packages as Kian and Chili are always competing fot my attention.
As you can see I used a lot of crackle paint and I love how they mix together. For the butterflies I just stamped some on a book page and add some dimension with acrilyc paint. I also put some glimmer mist on a wooden butterfly but the sparkly effect is not visible on the photo.

In the end I have to thank again all the girls that took part to the classes in Ljubljana and it was such fun making some memories keepers together! Thank you girls for such a good company!!

Can I have the pink cotton candy

In December there is a traditional funfair in Gorizia in Italy and Kian and me went with some friends to enjoy the lights, the music, the food and the roudabouts. Kian likes a lot going on this fair and he remembered that he had a pink cotton candy and of course also this year we were searching it. We actually had so much fun to listen to a boy that wants a pink cotton candy!

Bikers

Kian got a bike for his birthday and he's so proud when driving his new BMX. If we'll have luck and the sun will shine in autumn we'll enjoy having nice bike trips.
In this LO I used the embossing technique I saw at Michelle's blog and I had so much fun doing it. Try it!

Afternoon nap...

I have to tell that Kian doesn't like sleeping. Already when he was a newborn baby he didn't want to sleep and he was awake almost all day!!!!! And also now, when he will turn three next month, he's making problems when is time for the afternoon nap. So, to avoid fighting with a (terrible) two year toddler (that has no sense), I foud this alternative way to make him sleep during the day. I bought a little candy machine and I told him that when he sleeps, a mouse comes into his room and leaves a coin under his pillow (yes, I have to be always allert and remember to put it while he is sleeping). So, when he wakes up he can put the coin in the candy machine and as an award for being a good boy, he gets a candy. Most of the times is a success!! So this is what is my layout about.

The next layout is somehow connected with the previous because I have to admit that the candy escape sometimes doesn't work for misterious reasons and the next LO is showing the consequence!! He felt asleep in the middle of the day while drawing!!!! Is this happening to you too?

For everybody that enjoy creating it's just so nice to see how your child begins to express himself in an artistic way. It's so nice to see now Kian making faces , planes and his favorite drawings - robots. He's quite good in making an almost perfect triangle and squares and he enjoys when he can just make some messy work and use a lot of color!!!

I decided to make a layout of Kian's different playing. In fact he never loved the blocks but on the other hand he is making fabulous constructions with little trucks, shoes, cartons of milk,.... He is really a special boy.

EverydayScrapbook Challenge #4

Zadnji layout za EverydayScrapbook Challenge je tu. Tema je bila "Luže in Mavrica" in je moral vsebovati nekaj pikčastega papirja, luže in mavrico. Iz barvanega papirja sem izrezala mavrico in oblake in jim dodala nekaj šivov, da je izgled malo bolj privlačen. Lužice pa sem izrezala iz nekega srebrnega papirja, ki sem ga dobila v neki embalaži žarnice(!!!) in dodala večbarvne kapljice, da je vse skupaj bolj igrivo.

This is the last layout of the EverydayScrapbook Challenge. The final layout theme was "Puddles & Rainbows" and it has to contain some polka dot patterned paper, some puddles and a rainbow. I cut the rainbow and the clouds out of some colored paper and I added some stiches to get some more dimension and I cut the puddles out of a silver foil that I foud in a lamp package!!! For a more playfull efect I put some multicolor raindrops.
