Kar se tiče Kiana, mi je poleg 12 X 12 layoutov, zelo lepo izdelati mini albume, ki nekako združijo v celoto vse trenutke, ki se združijo pod eno temo. Tokarat je na vrsti mini album: My first words and funny phrases.
Kian je doooolgooo čakal, preden je začel govoriti. Začel je po dopolnjenem drugem letu in vsi smo že nestrpno čakali, kdaj se bo zgodil čudež. Sedaj pa govori cele dneve, kot da bi hotel nadoknaditi vse za nazaj.
No, prva Kianova beseda je bila bak - umazano. Sledili so pinda - priden, mon - kamion,... Seveda nočem pozabiti tudi vseh tistih fraz, ki me nasmejejo do smeha ali pa pustijo brez besed. Ena je tale: neko jutro se je Kian zbudil, smuknil iz svoje v našo posteljo, se ulegel poleg mene in kazal na moj obraz in rekel: "Ep nos, epa usca, epe či, epe brvi, epe ase!" (prevod: lep nos, lepa usta, lepe oči, lepe obrvi, lepe lase!). To je bil vsekakor eden najlepših trenutkov v mojem življenju.
Sedaj mi ne preostane drugega, kot napolniti mini knjigico.

Besides 12x12 layouts for Kian I enjoy doing mini albums as they carry a in one place all moments reguarding a precise theme. It's time for a mini album of "My first words and funny phrases".
Kian waited a long time before he started to speak. He was already two when he decided to comunicate with words and we were all waiting for this miracle. Well, now he speaks all day long like he want to recuperate the lost time.
Kians first word was bak - it means dirty. Then others followed but besides single words I want to remember all the phrases that make me smile or leave me astonished . One is this: one morning he woke up and jumped into our bed, he lay down in front of me and said a phrase (showing with his little finger) that translated would be like this: "Beatiful nose, beatiful mouth, beatiful eyes, beatiful, eyebrows, beatuful hair!" This was for sure one of the best moments of my life!
Now I have to fill up the mini book.

Rojstni dnevi se kar vrstijo in danes ga praznuje moja sestrica. Za to priložnost je nastal mini album, ki hrani njene najbolj sladke zakladke: Tanaia, Tilen, Liam in tudi Mike-a. Vsekakor je njena družina tista, ki naredi njeno življenje sladko, okusno in začinjeno..... Kot male tortice! Vse, vse, vse, vse, najboljše Nežka!!!!

It's birthday time again and this time is celebrating my sis. For this occassion I made a mini album that contains her sweetest treasures: Tanaia, Tilen, Liam and of course her hubby Mike. Her family is for sure the element that makes her life sweet, tasty and spicy... Like little cupcakes! Happy, happy, happy, happy birthday Nežka!!!!

Mala princeska / Little princess

V nedeljo bo zabava. Pika namreč praznuje 4. rojstni dan in to je prav pomemben dogodek. Poleg darila bo Pika dobila tudi slikico za spomin na najlepše otroške trenutke. Seveda kot večina punčk, ima Pika rada roza barvo in zato je tudi okvirček nastal v teh tonih.

We have a party on Sunday. Pika is turning 4 and this is an important event. She will recive with the gift this frame to remember the most beatiful moments as a child. Of course, like many little girls, Pika just adores pink and this is the reason also the frame was made in this kind colors.

Povedati moram, da je danes bil lep dan in poleg dobrega razpoloženja sem bila tudi izžrebana v Everyday scrapbook chalenge. Jupppiiiii! Tisočkrat hvala Michelle! To je naredilo moj lep dan še lepši!

premislila sem si / I changed my mind

Vem, da je smešno, a že včeraj, ko sem delala Matejev layout mi nekaj ni štimalo. No danes, ko je Kian šel spančkat, sem ga demontirala.

I know that it sounds funny but already yesterday I didn't feel ok with the Matej's layout so today when Kian went to have his afternoon nap I decided to make it into pieces.



Naredila sem novo različico, ki mi je bolj všeč. No, ali ni boljša?

Someone important

Dva izdelka in pri v obeh primerih gre za podobno tehniko senčenja z distreserji.
Prvi layout je za mojo mamo. Ona je vsekakor ena od tistih pomembnih oseb, brez katerih bi težko živela. Neverjetno je, koliko si imamo vsak dan za povedati in kako lepi so trenutki, kimjih preživimo skupaj.

Two new pages with the same kind of distress technique.
The first layout is for my mom. She is certanly one of those people I can't immagine my life without. It's amazing how nuch we have to tell each other every day and how beatiful are the moment we share.

Drugi layout je posvečen Mateju. Matej je bobnar. Dober bobnar. Preden sem ga spoznala je zame glasba bila le glasba. Bila je lahko lepa ali pa mi ni bila všeč in to je bilo vse. Seveda je to bilo ante-Matej.

Glasbeniki pa glasbo doživljajo drugače. Kar naenkrat sem bila po tistem, ko sva z Matejem začela najino zgodbo, vržena v svet prehodov, rulotov, reefov, činel, solacij, metronomov... Glasba je postala nekaj, kar moraš razumeti in prepoznati, kdaj je narejena dobro in kdaj je le navadna kakofonija, kdaj nekdo res zna igrati in kdaj samo "špila" glasbenika. Včasih mislim, da preveč komplicirajo, a drugič sem spet vesela, ker lahko danes razumem in cenim dobro glasbo.

Nekaj let nazaj sva z Matejem obredla celo Slovenijo, ko je koncertoval s svojo skupino. No, zanimivi časi so za nami in tu je majhen spomin: njihov video, ko je še igral z bandom Traffic religion. Sedaj pa moj Matej pridno vadi s svojim prijateljem Juretom, ki je tudi glasbenik ena A.

The second layout is dedicated to Matej. Matej is a drumer. A good drumer. In fact before I knew Matej for me music was just music. It wad good or bad but only music. Of course this was ante-Matej.

The musicians live the music differently. After Matej and me started to date I was suddenly thrown in a world ful of snare drums, reefs, cymbals, toms,.... Music has become something to understand and something to appriciate when well done and not just a cacophonic sound. I slowly learned when someone is really knows how to play and is not just pretending to be a musician. Well I have to admit that sometimes I do think that musicians just tent to complicate their lives but on the other hand I'm hapy to understand good music.

EverydayScrapbook Challenge #4

Zadnji layout za EverydayScrapbook Challenge je tu. Tema je bila "Luže in Mavrica" in je moral vsebovati nekaj pikčastega papirja, luže in mavrico. Iz barvanega papirja sem izrezala mavrico in oblake in jim dodala nekaj šivov, da je izgled malo bolj privlačen. Lužice pa sem izrezala iz nekega srebrnega papirja, ki sem ga dobila v neki embalaži žarnice(!!!) in dodala večbarvne kapljice, da je vse skupaj bolj igrivo.

This is the last layout of the EverydayScrapbook Challenge. The final layout theme was "Puddles & Rainbows" and it has to contain some polka dot patterned paper, some puddles and a rainbow. I cut the rainbow and the clouds out of some colored paper and I added some stiches to get some more dimension and I cut the puddles out of a silver foil that I foud in a lamp package!!! For a more playfull efect I put some multicolor raindrops.
